The goal is to create an advanced web-based tool that, through the combination of mathematical models and data collected from the field through feeler, can independently manage the irrigation phases and can quickly provide nutritional recommendations on tree crops in the field.

IRRIGATION
Meteorological, pedoclimatic, cultural data and soil moisture will be processed and used to quantify the water volumes to be supplied in order to meet the needs of the plant,
elaborating the water balance of the crops and quantifying the volumes to be irrigated. The volumes will also be differentiated, throughout the season, in relation to the phenological phases of the plant. The system will be able to automate the irrigation system by communicating with the solenoid valves of the systems.

NUTRITION
The E.A.Sy project offers technical solutions for the nutrition of native crops by defining optimized and innovative fertilization protocols that take into account the concentration of the elements available in the circulating solution and the real needs of the crop in relation to the growth flow.

Riu.S.A. (Reuse of Food Waste) proposes to develop a Decision Support System for the management and optimization of the fruit and vegetable supply chain which, through the implementation of a web platform, allows to minimize agri-food "waste".

The web platform will allow the assignment of the waste to the best recipient of the second transformation.
The platform will be equipped with a retroactive mechanism that will make it possible to supply the manufacturing companies with the quantities of rejected products. In this way they will be able to optimize their production and guarantee an ever higher level of good products.

An analytical model will then be developed which, once the quantity of usable waste is known, will allow to dynamically identify the possible transformer (s) interested in their consumption.

The ViSTA project develops, on the sites managed by the Polo Museale of Puglia, an integrated technological system for virtual and social touring of the Apulian artistic and cultural heritage.

It is an Integrated software application, because it involves and integrates a series of technologies from Web-GIS, to photo stitching for the 360 ° effect, to social communities. Virtual, because it allows indoor virtual navigation within an artistic / cultural site and remote visits to its entire space. Social, thanks to social features such as live chat, live streaming and context feedback system.

 

Integrated software application for the real-time transmission of information and clinical data for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes as well as for the subsequent remote control of patients and for the monitoring of many pathologies and / or chronic conditions. The system consists of the following technological components:

Lightweight and compact mobile biomedical device equipped with feeler intended for the detection of the patient's ECG and a Bluetooth antenna for the communication of the detected values
Mobile application installed on the smartphone for plotting the sampling carried out by the electronic device, the transmission of the same sampling to the e-care platform and the management of communications with the other players in the integrated system
E-care web platform for the simultaneous remote monitoring of patients in real time, communication with the system actors and management of patient medical records.

The research and development activities carried out mainly concerned:

  • the visual and interactive experience with the development of software components dedicated to enriching the sensory impact through the design and development of augmented reality technologies, virtual environments and 3D animations;
  • productivity and intelligent automation through the creation of a semantic software component whose role is the automated recognition, indexing and assembly of certain contents of the technological platform;
  • the digital distribution, mobility and interoperability of the platform through the implementation of collaboration, geolocation and distributed content application functions.

Promote and make easily accessible all information regarding regional, national and community policies.
Thanks to an open data system based on technology solutions in CLOUD mode, the platform offers an integrated and all-encompassing system that promotes and makes all information regarding regional, national and community policies and the guidelines given by programming (ERDF, EAFRD , PAC, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Economic Development, etc.) to support the activities of the agri-food sector and the development of rural areas in general.

RUTES allows, thanks to the data mining and selection and classification system of sensitive information, to constantly receive useful information. In addition, it offers support for the promotion and development of new business opportunities.

The Prometeo Community web forum allows the sharing of information system rules for decision support between doctors, test laboratories and researchers, through integration with the expert validation system for laboratory results.
